Important Changes Coming to Cancer Care Northwest: Epic Systems, MyChart, and Lab Services

Effective October 14, 2024

At Cancer Care Northwest, our commitment to providing you with exceptional care is our top priority. In the coming weeks, we will be transitioning to a new and enhanced electronic health records system, Epic. This upgrade will improve your access to your medical information and streamline communications with your care team.

As we make this transition, we would like to inform you of several important updates that may affect you:

• Epic Systems software launch – On October 14, 2024, we will officially begin using the Epic Systems software. While our team is trained and prepared for this change, there may be minor delays as we adjust to the new system. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this period.

• Billing vendor changes – Billing for services provided before October 14, 2024, will continue through our current vendor, Unlimited, and payments can be made online at https://mypay.poscorp.com/CCNW. However, any services provided on or after this date will be billed through the Epic system, with payments managed via your MyChart account. If you have any questions regarding billing, please feel free to contact our business office at (509) 228-1025.
• MyChart will replace MyCCNW – We will soon retire our existing patient portal, MyCCNW. To ensure seamless access to your health records, we strongly encourage you to set up a MyChart account after 10/14/24. To initiate a MyChart account sign-up, please request a text or email activation link at your next CCNW appointment or call us at (509) 228-1000. If you already have a MyChart account, please make sure to link it with Cancer Care Northwest.  

Additionally, we would like to inform you that Cancer Care Northwest has partnered with LabCorp to manage on-site lab services. Beginning 10/14/24, lab work done at a CCNW facility will be performed and billed through LabCorp.
