SPOKANE, WA - Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is proud to announce the addition of Daniel Rodgers, RD, as the new Oncology Dietitian. Daniel will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.
Daniel graduated in 2004 from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics. From the young age of 12, he had an interest in nutrition, which lead him to pursue it as a career. He began working as a clinical dietician in 2004 and has extensive knowledge and experience in medical nutrition therapy for various health disciplines, including cardiovascular, gastroenterology, neurology, obstetrics, oncology, pediatrics, and renal. Daniel is passionate about patient care and education. He is continuously seeking and advancing his knowledge of nutrition science and enjoys helping patients improve their overall health and wellness.
In his free time, Daniel can be found outdoors, hunting, hiking, camping, and fishing with his son. As a former competitive weightlifter, wrestler, and firefighter, he enjoys staying active in fitness.
