Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is proud to announce the addition of Corbin D. Jacobs, MD, as the newest radiation oncologist to join the practice. Dr. Jacobs will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.
Dr. Jacobs obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX, where he graduated #1 in his medical school class. He completed his residency at Duke University, in Durham, NC. Dr. Jacobs has co-authored peer-reviewed manuscripts for a variety of cancer sites including prostate, breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynecologic, brain, head and neck and lymphoma. He is experienced in advanced radiation techniques including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). His hobbies include basketball, hiking, bowling, disc golf, and spending time with his wife, children, and dog.
