Cancer Care Northwest Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner, Nelbie Anne Duran, MSN, MAN, AGPCNP-BC, OCN

SPOKANE, WA - Cancer Care Northwest is proud to announce the addition of Nelbie Anne Duran, MSN, MAN, AGPCNP-BC, OCN, as the newest Nurse Practitioner to join the practice. Nelbie will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.

Nelbie attended St. Jude Colleges in Manila, Philippines, where she graduated with her Master of Arts in Nursing Degree. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing Degree, with a specialty in Oncology, from Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, North Carolina. She  is a Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and brings with her over 10 years of oncology nursing experience.

Nelbie is dedicated in providing individualized and holistic care to her patients. She puts her heart and soul into every patient encounter, bringing light and lifting heavy hearts in uncertain times while providing the best opportunity for cure or improving her patient’s quality of life. She worked as an oncology registered nurse for several years before enrolling in the Master of Nursing Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Duke University. Nelbie practiced as a hematology and medical oncology nurse practitioner prior to joining CCNW.

With much gratitude, Nelbie supports charity programs for children with cancer and disabilities in the Philippines, and previously to foundations for the underserved communities within Fort Worth, Texas.

She is also fluent in Tagalog and Ilocano dialect. Nelbie loves to cook, travel, and express her artistic side through photography and crafting.
