SPOKANE, WA - Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is proud to announce the addition of Jennifer Lazzara, DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC as the newest Nurse Practitioner to join the practice. Jennifer will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.

 

Jennifer attended the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with honors. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Jennifer stayed at the University of Utah to pursue higher education in nursing, where she once again graduated with honors, receiving her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Jennifer specializes in breast oncology, survivorship care, high-risk patients, and genetic counseling/testing. Her care philosophy is to treat the patient, not the cancer, and focus on the whole person. Jennifer is a strong advocate for her patients, providing them with all the information they need to make the best treatment decisions for themselves. She works hard to provide individualized support to patients throughout their treatment and beyond, addressing not only their physical needs, but social and emotional as well.

 

Jennifer is a mother of four grown children and has an amazing blue heeler dog. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, climbing, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, traveling, music, and spending time with loved ones.
