Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is happy to announce the induction of Lisa Shawen, ARNP, as the newest nurse practitioner to join the practice. Lisa will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.
Lisa obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Washington State University’s Intercollegiate College of Nursing. She then earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from the Gonzaga University Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Lisa worked as a registered nurse at Providence Holy Family Hospital, in their Acute Care Unit. She was a clinical research nurse for Evergreen Hematology & Oncology, and then for Cancer Care Northwest. Most recently, Lisa cared for patients as a nurse practitioner at MultiCare Rockwood Endocrinology.
