Cancer Care Northwest Welcomes New Medical Oncologist, Nathan Gay, MD

Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is proud to announce the addition of Nathan Gay, MD, as the newest medical oncologist/hematologist to join the practice. Dr. Gay will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.
 
Dr. Gay earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Carroll College in Helena, MT, and went on to receive his Medical Degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. Following medical school, Dr. Gay completed his Internal Medicine residency as well as a Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.
 
As a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist, Dr. Gay’s mission is to provide compassionate, honest, and cutting-edge care to patients facing cancer and blood disorders. He treats all cancer types but has a special interest and experience in lung cancer and lymphoma.
 
With a deep commitment to advancing oncology through evidence-based treatments, clinical research, and personalized care plans, Dr. Gay strives to empower his patients with hope, clarity, and confidence throughout their journey. His approach blends the latest advancements in cancer research with a patient-centered philosophy, ensuring that each individual receives tailored therapies that address their unique needs. He is dedicated to fostering open communication, offering support to families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.
 
Dr. Gay was born and raised in the Spokane area and feels privileged to serve his home community, providing not only medical expertise but also empathy and encouragement every step of the way.
