Cancer Care Northwest Welcomes New Sr. Director, Payer Strategy & Relations, Ramon J. Guel, MBA

Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is proud to announce the addition of Ramon J. Guel, MBA, as the newest Sr. Director, Payer Strategy & Relations to join the practice. Ramon will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.

In this leadership role, Ramon will oversee payer strategy initiatives, strengthen relationships with health plan partners, and help advance the organization's strategic objectives through innovative contracting, regulatory excellence, and collaborative partnership development.

Ramon brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership, specializing in complex contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Throughout his career, he has successfully developed and managed payer relationships while navigating the evolving healthcare landscape with a focus on operational excellence, financial stewardship, and patient-centered outcomes.

A lifelong learner committed to professional growth, Ramon has earned an impressive portfolio of academic credentials. He received his Bachelor of Science from Troy University in Troy, Alabama; a Master of English Literature from Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington; a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon; and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.

Outside of work, he is passionate about watch making, and is a member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors.
