CCNW Oncology & Hematology Services Now Available in the Palouse Region

SPOKANE, WA - Cancer Care Northwest will now be offering full-time oncology and hematology services to communities in the Palouse region, thanks to a healthcare partnership between Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) and Palouse Specialty Physicians (PSP). This specialty clinic will provide services and treatments for a range of cancer diagnoses and blood disorders within the Gritman Medical Office Building, located at 803 S Main Street, Ste 210, in Moscow, ID.

"The collaboration between CCNW and PSP allows us to provide quality oncology care and support to patients who live in rural communities in the Palouse region, without requiring them to travel."

The clinic will be staffed by CCNW Medical Oncologist, Srijana Rai MD, and CCNW Nurse Practitioner, Megan E. O’Neil DNP, ARNP. Dr. Srijana Rai comes to the Palouse after completing a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She received her medical degree from Kathmandu Medical College in Nepal and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Rai specializes in the treatment of malignant tumors, including those of the breast, lung, and organs. Additionally, she treats both benign and malignant blood-related conditions, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia, multiple myeloma, anemia, and sickle cell disease.

Megan O'Neil, DNP, ARNP began her career in nursing at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois on the Stem Cell Transplant and Hematology/Oncology floor where she first fell in love with cancer care. After moving to Cody, Wyoming in 2014, she made the transition to work in rural, outpatient oncology and chemotherapy infusion. Megan is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Palouse Specialty Physicians is an ongoing collaboration between Gritman Medical Center, Pullman Regional Hospital, and Whitman Hospital & Medical Center dedicated to providing the region with a network of specialists. Cancer Care Northwest is excited to collaborate with PSP in the specialty of oncology, to provide the Palouse community with the best possible cancer care, close to home.
