At Cancer Care Northwest we offer comprehensive Cancer Genetic Risk Assessments (CGRA), including Breast Cancer Risk Assessments, and genetic testing to identify high-risk patients and provide personalized care plans. Our risk assessments are performed by Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Lazzara, DNP, ARNP. Jennifer attended the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree with honors. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Jennifer stayed at the University of Utah to pursue higher education in nursing, where she once again graduated with honors, receiving her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She also completed a specialized City of Hope course in Genetic Cancer Risk Assessment as well as a Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment (CGRA) certification from the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC).
Jennifer is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC), Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), City of Hope Cancer Genomics Community of Practice, and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.
