Heather Gabbert graduated with a Master of Science degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1995, which included a coordinated internship. She loves all areas of dietetics; however, her area of focus is oncology and wellness and disease prevention. Heather has authored nutrition sections for many of the Living and Thriving with Cancer books and she has written articles and blogs highlighting the importance of nutrition. She enjoys helping people learn the importance of good nutrition. Heather is also a Zumba instructor and a mother to her two children.
