Cancer Care Northwest Welcomes New Medical Oncologist, Kristine J. Rinn, MD

SPOKANE, WA - Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is proud to announce the addition of Kristine J. Rinn, MD, as the newest medical oncologist/hematologist to join the practice. Dr. Rinn will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.

Dr. Rinn obtained her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. She then went on to complete an internal medicine residency at the University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals, including a Chief Residency at Swedish Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Rinn finished her training with a medical oncology fellowship at the University of Washington Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She has worked as a Medical Oncologist at Swedish Cancer Institute since 2001, where she specialized in breast cancer treatment. She also has an interest in breast cancer risk assessment and genetics. Additionally, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and enjoys working with medical students. In her free time, Dr. Rinn enjoys traveling, paddleboarding, hiking and spending time with her family and dog.  She grew up in Spokane and is happy to be back.
