SPOKANE, WA - Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) is proud to announce the return of Srijana Rai, MD, as the newest medical oncologist/hematologist to join the practice. Dr. Rai will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.
Dr. Rai attended medical school at Kathmandu Medical College in Kathmandu, Nepal. She then went on to complete an Internal Medicine Residency at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. From there, Dr. Rai completed her Fellowships in Geriatric Medicine and Hematology/Oncology from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Rai previously worked as a Medical Oncologist for CCNW in partnership with Palouse Specialty Physicians in Moscow, Idaho, from September 2019 – July 2023.
Dr. Rai specializes in the treatment of malignant cancer tumors, including those of the breast, lung, and organs. Additionally, she treats both benign and malignant blood-related conditions, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia, multiple myeloma, anemia, and sickle cell disease.
In her free time, Dr. Rai enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.
