Cancer Care Northwest is kindly asking for donations of homemade cloth face coverings for our patients and staff. We have received generous donations from a number of people, and for that we thank you. We have distributed all of the cloth face coverings we have received and are in need of more.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure. The CDC website provides simple step-by-step instructions on how to create homemade cloth face coverings.
Homemade cloth face covering donations can be made at the front desk of any CCNW main clinic location. Thank you.
