Chief Information Officer

Born in the United States and raised over twenty years in Seoul Korea has given Erin a dual perspective on culture and linguistics. Hard work and persistence have earned her two associate degrees, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and two graduate degrees in health informatics & IT management respectively. Starting as a unit secretary, Erin became a critical care registered nurse at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds. From there, Erin became a senior informatics analyst at Providence Health in Seattle to eventually land at Cancer Care Northwest as an informatics manager.

Transitioning from the clinical informatics director to her new role as chief information officer has allowed Erin to reflect on her journey and leadership perspective. Her belief is that frontline staff, nurses, and physicians are the face of any healthcare organization and deserve the utmost support and transparency. Given this approach, Erin will work tirelessly to assure the health of Cancer Care Northwest, its employees, and patients. Erin intends to lead with a pragmatic and thoughtful style with the sole intention of CCNW maintaining its high standing in the Spokane area.

Erin attributes her accomplishments to the robust support of her husband and family. Outside of work, Erin is a classic pianist, culinary adventurist, and loves to travel. Her recent endeavors are learning to drive a tractor and growing spicy peppers.
