Dr. Robert Gersh,
Practice President
Dr. Gersh, who is board-certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, has practiced oncology in Spokane for nearly 30 years. He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his medical training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Gersh has served as Director of Research at Cancer Care Northwest, Director of Medical Oncology at Deaconess Medical Center, and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine on the Auxiliary Teaching Staff of the University of Washington.
Warren Benincosa,
Chief Executive Officer
An experienced health care administrator, Warren provides leadership in the vision of Cancer Care Northwest as an integrated cancer center. Throughout his career, he has worked in an array of leadership capacities to enhance the overall practice and viability of many health care organizations. Warren holds a Master in Health and Hospital Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
William Fisher,
Chief Financial Officer
William has extensive financial management experience in the health care field. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and a doctorate in leadership from Gonzaga University. He is an adjunct faculty member at Gonzaga University and is board president for Hospice of Spokane.
David Schmick,
Director of Pharmacy Services, Research and Quality Services
David has more than 20 years of experience in pharmacy practice and management. His professional experience includes 15 years as a pharmacist in oncology. In addition to overseeing pharmacy activities, he is project leader for Foundations of Quality, Cancer Care Northwest’s innovative performance improvement program. He also helps direct the organization’s research activities. He holds a bachelor’s in pharmacy from Washington State University.
Linda Nelson,
Manager of Nursing Services
Linda has been an oncology nurse for nearly 30 years. She joined Cancer Care Northwest in 1987 as a staff registered nurse and now supervises all of the organization’s nursing activities. She holds a degree in nursing and is a certified oncology nurse.
Tim Holt,
Director of Information Technology
Tim has more than 20 years of experience in the management and maintenance of information technology systems. He is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer and a Cisco Certified Network Associate. Tim served in the United States Air Force for nearly 20 years.

Eileen Walker,
Health Care Quality Manager
Eileen develops and manages initiatives to drive patient satisfaction and to promote the delivery of quality care to our patients. Her professional experience includes 15 years of oncology nursing and nearly 20 years in health care management. Eileen holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carroll College.
