Dr. Wayne Lamoreaux
Practice President
Dr. Lamoreaux is a radiation oncologist at Cancer Care Northwest. Throughout his career, Dr. Lamoreaux has been active in leadership and research, and published several scientific articles. Dr. Lamoreaux has a special interest in treatment modalities including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Gamma Knife radiosurgery for brain tumors, Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SBRT) and High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy.
Warren L. Benincosa,
Chief Executive Officer
An experienced health care executive, Warren provides leadership in the vision of Cancer Care Northwest as an integrated cancer center. Throughout his career, he has worked in an array of leadership capacities including being the CEO of two community hospitals and enhancing the overall practice and viability of many health care organizations. Warren earned his BSN at the University of Utah and holds a Master in Health and Hospital Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
William Fisher,
Chief Financial Officer
William has extensive financial management experience in the health care field and holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Washington University. He was an adjunct faculty member at Gonzaga University from 1995 to 2009 and previously at Eastern Washington University from 1990-1995. Currently he is a member of Washington Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Medical Group Management Association.
Carol O'Leary,
Chief Information Officer
Carol has more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology Services with 20 years in management. O’Leary has a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Gonzaga University and started her career working at Providence Holy Family Hospital in the Radiation Therapy department. After working for Providence for over a decade, Carol was integral in developing and managing community based online health services which served physicians, physician organizations, hospitals, and business partners with Pointshare Corporation which was acquired by Siemens Medical Solutions. Most recently she served as the IT director for Providence VNA Home Health.
David Schmick,
Director of Pharmacy and Research
David has more than 20 years of experience in pharmacy practice and management. His professional experience includes 15 years as a pharmacist in oncology. In addition to overseeing pharmacy activities, he is project leader for Foundations of Quality, Cancer Care Northwest’s innovative performance improvement program. He also helps direct the organization’s research activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Washington State University.
Linda Nelson,
Manager of Nursing Services
Linda began her 32 year career in Oncology as a staff nurse in the hospital setting. She advanced to the role of Oncology Coordinator for Deaconess Hospital and Medical Center, a position she was instrumental in developing. She has been part of the CCNW team for 24 years, managing the nursing department for over 8 of those years. As a member of the Executive Team, Linda is responsible for coordinating the integrated services of the Nursing and Support Services departments. Linda has been an Oncology Certified Nurse for 22 years. She is the CCNW representative to Washington C.A.R.E.S About Cancer Partnership, which develops, implements, and evaluates the state’s comprehensive cancer control plan.
