SPOKANE, WA - Cancer Care Northwest is proud to announce the addition of Stephanie Swarthout, MS, RD, as the new Clinical Dietitian to join the practice. Stephanie will continue CCNW’s mission to provide a fully integrated approach to the prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of cancer and related diseases while inspiring hope for living.
Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Language from California State University Monterey Bay. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado. After graduating, she completed a 33-week Dietetic Internship with the University of Houston Distance. In May 2021, Stephanie graduated from Kansas University Medical Center with a Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition (MS).
As a Registered Dietitian, Stephanie has a passion for food as medicine, and a philosophy of healing through good nutrition. Her goal is to help her patients feel their best through treatment and beyond with a food first approach. In her free time, she enjoys archery, cycling, and playing with her huskies.
