Meet Dr. Call, CCNW's New Practice President

Cancer Care Northwest is proud to announce the induction of Dr. Jason Call, radiation oncologist, as the new Practice President. For the next two years, Dr. Call will help lead CCNW in the continued mission to apply the unique comprehensive, innovative, compassionate and integrated approach to beating cancer here in the Inland Northwest. Dr. Call will be taking on the role previously held by Dr. Ryan Holbrook, having completed his two-year term, as CCNW Practice President.

Dr. Call has been a radiation oncologist at Cancer Care Northwest for the last five years. Dr. Call pursued his medical school training at the Medical College of Wisconsin and his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His training includes modern radiation techniques, focusing on Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Gamma Knife radiosurgery, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), and High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy for prostate, breast and gynecologic malignancies.  He has also served as the Medical Director of the Alliance for Cancer Care and has received the Best Doctors in America Award annually since 2015.

In addition to cancer treatment, Dr. Call has been active in research throughout his career, publishing in several scientific journals. He has presented his research at national and international oncology meetings and authored published book chapters on topics related to Radiation Oncology. 

Dr. Call is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington, and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University. In these roles, he regularly assists in the training of medical students and residents.

Dr. Call is married to Catherine and has two children. Outside of practicing medicine, he loves helping coach the youth wrestling team at Mt. Spokane, exercising and enjoying the outdoors with his family.
