Cancer Care Northwest, P.S. Physician Referrals

Partnering For Success
At Cancer Care Northwest, we view our referring physicians as partners in the process of cancer diagnosis and treatment. We recognize the high level of trust you are placing in us, and we are committed to assuring your patient will receive the best possible treatment option, as well as compassionate care, with the least inconvenience and disruption to their everyday activities.

As a valued team member, you will receive thorough and timely updates after each major consultation with the patient. We also welcome your inquiries at any time concerning your patient’s treatment program.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide patients with convenient access to leading edge, quality integrated oncology care in a cost-effective, consumer-friendly environment. We are proud to be the only fully integrated cancer treatment center in the Inland Northwest, offering a complete range of diagnostic tests and treatments at one convenient location. This puts less stress on the patient, allowing them to concentrate on healing and normal daily activities rather than dealing with the inconvenience of multiple appointments at different facilities.

Leading Edge Treatment Options and Diagnostic Tools
Cancer Care Northwest is pleased to bring new and exciting treatment options and diagnostic tools to Spokane, providing hope to many patients and eliminating the need for them to travel to Seattle for these new advancements. Through our associations with national and regional clinical research groups, we are currently participating in over 150 clinical trials, offering our patients cutting-edge treatment options.

We have also invested in the very latest diagnostic tool, a stationary Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanner, previously available only in Seattle. This advanced cancer diagnostic tool greatly enhances our ability to detect the presence and spread of cancer that may not be revealed by other imaging technology.

Supporting The Total Patient
Conquering cancer often involves more than just standard medical treatment. Mind, body and spirit must all work together to meet the challenge for a successful outcome. We work hard to support the total patient in whatever way is necessary. Our healthcare team is committed to providing our patients vision, hope, passion and empowerment to help them successfully complete their healing journey and take an active role in their care.

To that end, we host a wide range of support groups and also provide a licensed social worker to assist those patients and their families who may need additional support. We recognize the impact cancer can have on a patient and their family, and we are committed to providing a high level of support throughout the treatment program and beyond.

Our social worker is available for individual and family counseling, in-home and hospital visits, and grief counseling. She can also help with housing, transportation, home health care, Medicaid/Medicare/DSHS services, legal issues, assistance programs for medication, and access to various community resources.

When referring your patient, please let us know if he or she may require the services of our social worker.

Convenient Locations and Outreach Clinics For Easy Access
Cancer Care Northwest has three locations within the greater Spokane area for the convenience of our patients. We also offer outreach services in Chewelah, Davenport, Moses Lake and Ritzville so cancer patients in outlying areas will have access to treatment without the inconvenience of traveling to Spokane.

We are committed to providing the highest level of care and support to our patients, and to keeping our referring physician partners involved in the treatment program. Please feel free to contact us anytime at 228-1000 or via e-mail at BeninWL@ccnw.net.
