These physicians include: Bruce A. Cutter, M.D., Medical Oncologist and President of Cancer Care Northwest; Elizabeth A. Grosen, M.D., Gynecologic Oncologist; Ryan F. Holbrook, M.D., Surgical Oncologist/Breast Surgeon; Robert H. Laugen, M.D., Medical Oncologist, and Howard D. Stang, M.D., Medical Oncologist. Best Doctors®
is an independent corporation that specializes in providing
medical knowledge to consumers. Each year they compile a list
of outstanding physicians in various specialties throughout
America based on evaluations by other physicians. The company
does not accept fees from doctors or hospitals in exchange for
being included on the list. To compile the list, the company
surveys leading medical specialists worldwide and asks them
what doctors they themselves would go to for treatment in their
specialty. The individual responses are then evaluated and compiled
into listings for each city. Only about four percent of all
U.S. doctors are selected as outstanding doctors and included
