Dr. Stephanie Moline joined Cancer Care Northwest in November of 2002. A native of Mississippi, she attended the University of Alabama and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Chemistry. She then went on to medical school at Vanderbilt University, followed by a general surgery residency in Mobile, AL at the University of South Alabama. She completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at University of Michigan where she received special training in all aspects of breast surgery, particularly multi-disciplinary team care.

Dr. Moline is fully trained in the newest techniques of breast surgery, including sentinel node mapping and biopsy, skin sparing mastectomy, and minimally invasive biopsy techniques, as well as management of difficult breast cancer cases and high risk women. She has also received advanced training in the new MammoSite technique, a less invasive radiation treatment option for breast cancer, and was the first surgeon in Spokane to perform the procedure.

Dr. Moline is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons and a member of American Society of Breast Surgeons where she participates on the Research and Education Committee. She is also active in the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project and participates in many of their research trials. Dr. Moline has a special interest in educating people about breast cancer and cancer-related topics and has given many presentations to various professional and lay groups.
