Dr. Robert Laugen is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, where he also received his training in Internal Medicine and completed his internship and residency. He went on to specialize in Oncology/Hematology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, receiving fellowships in both Hematology and Oncology.

Dr. Laugen has extensive academic experience, in addition to clinical practice. Following his postgraduate training, he was an instructor at the University of Virginia Department of Internal Medicine, and he currently is on staff as a Clinical Instructor in Oncology/Hematology with the University of Washington’s Auxiliary Teaching Staff.

Dr. Laugen joined Cancer Care Northwest in 1978. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Spokane County Medical Society.
