Dr. Robert Gersh has practiced Medical Oncology and Hematology in Spokane since 1980 and is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. In addition to his duties at Cancer Care Northwest,
Dr. Gersh serves as Director of Medical Oncology at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane. He has a special interest in hematologic malignancies and is involved in clinical trials of new cancer treatments for a variety of malignant disorders.

Dr. Gersh completed his medical training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology. His M.D. degree is from the University of Colorado, where he also completed his undergraduate education in biology. Dr. Gersh has extensive teaching experience and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine on the Auxiliary Teaching Staff of the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dr. Gersh is married with two children.
