When it comes to your cancer treatment, finances are the last thing you want to worry about. But the cost of your care can weigh on your mind and cause a great deal of stress for you and your family.
Cancer Care Northwest’s experienced patient advocates are available to help ease your financial concerns. Even before treatment begins, if necessary, a patient advocate meets one-on-one with you to:
- Discuss your health care coverage
- Help you better understand treatment expenses
- Guide you through complicated insurance processes and paperwork
- Develop a payment plan if needed
And, if you qualify, your patient advocate will help identify community support programs that provide financial assistance for food, utilities, medical bills and other areas of need.
