Cancer Care Northwest Pink Power
CCNW not only talks the talk, we walk the walk. We are proud to be a supporter of Susan G. Komen in our community!
On April 18, 2010, Cancer Care Northwest’s team, Pink Power, took part in celebrating the 5th Annual Komen Eastern Washington Race for the Cure. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a volunteer-oriented organization dedicated to eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment. In an effort to support this cause, more than 300 patients, staff, friends and family signed up to be a part of Cancer Care Northwest’s team. In addition to walking, running, or strolling in the Race for the Cure, Pink Power raised $13,496 to aid in the fight against breast cancer, celebrate breast cancer survivorship and honor those who have lost their battle with the disease.
Pink Power received numerous corporate team awards at the Race for the Cure ceremony, immediately following the Race:
Pretty in Pink - Team with the Most Survivors
Many and Mighty for the Cure - Largest Team
Friends for the Cure - Largest Fundraiser
Stroll for the Cure - Most strollers
koMEN for the Cure - Team with the most males
Pink Power was led by Deb Cridlebaugh-Broyles, a Cancer Care Northwest RN and breast cancer survivor. She thanked everyone for their role in making the CCNW team a success.
“It’s supporters like all of you that take us another step closer to a world without breast cancer!”
Thank you to all who participated in the Race for the Cure with Cancer Care Northwest - Pink Power!
