Benefits at Cancer Care Northwest

At Cancer Care Northwest, we provide for the health and overall well-being of the entire person, both for our patients and our employees. We offer all full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package that promotes optimal health of the body and mind, family, finances and lifestyle.

BENEFITS FOR BODY AND MIND

  • Medical coverage with two deductible level options.*
  • Dental and vision coverage.
  • Health care reimbursement account with an available debit card option.*
  • Employee assistance program offering 24-hour counseling help-line, up to three free counseling sessions per year, and referrals to local child and elder care providers.

BENEFITS FOR FAMILIES

  • Paid time off (PTO) for vacation or sick leave. PTO hours are accrued according to the amount of actual hours worked up to a maximum of 120 hours per year (three weeks). Employees working 40 hours per week will reach this maximum.*
  • Extended illness account (EIA) in the event of an illness lasting longer than five work days. EIA hours are accrued according to the amount of actual hours worked up to a maximum of 40 hours per year (one week). Employees working 40 hours per week will reach this maximum.*
  • Short term disability coverage to subsidize missing wages at 2/3 normal pay rate for up to six months (depending upon condition) during recovery from an event such as a serious illness, surgery or maternity leave.
  • Long term disability coverage to subsidize missing wages at 60 percent normal pay rate up to $15,000 per year for up to four years (depending upon age) if disability continues after short term disability is exhausted.

  • Dependent care reimbursement account.*

BENEFITS FOR MAINTAINING FINANCES

  • Basic life insurance fully provided for employee (one year's salary up to $50,000), spouse ($2,000) and dependent children ($1,000).
  • Additional life insurance purchase option for employee, spouse and/or dependent children. 401k plan participation option after six months of employment.*
  • Employee referral reward program to award bonuses to employees who refer prospective employees, provided the referral is hired and the new employee is not a relative or a subordinate of the referring employee.*
